I sure did! I went to San Diego to be with my girl, Jazz, and my grandsons. Holy cow! What a great time! Lots of wonderful presents, marathon board games (yeah, we get them started early in our family!), and a wonderful party with food cooked by my girl.
Geez...you never really know how you did as a parent until you watch them in action running their own homes, directing their own kids...
For any of you that follow me, you'll know my website went down. Uh-huh. This girl didn't know that you have to renew your website as a separate gesture. And, to get it back up? Oh, well. You don't want to know and I don't want to recount it.
Suffice it to say its up now and that's good.
I've spent some time working on my goals for 2014 -- especially with regard to writing.
I need to work on the last three books for the Grantham series which you all know started out with the Dance Series. And that morphed into Human Hieroglyphix and then onto Bewitchments. Golly! What started out as a 'I can do better than that' kind of thing, has kind of taken on a life of its own, hasn't it?
Just like all the other books I've written!
Here's what I've got planned so far...
- Slow Dance - Is there anyone else out there that wants to know about Jake's former business partner, Dale? Why was he so upset about Jake and Cait's relationship? Does it have anything to do with Sara Davidson moving back? I'm curious as hell about that relationship and wondering if it is as much of a hot mess as we've seen.
- Human Hieroglyphix III - When we last saw Benny he was still healing from his surgery and had met a girl at Crys and Gabe's wedding. We know he lost his wife at an early age and seems to only date college age girls now but from the attraction that was seen between Benny and Vicki, I think there's a story there. Especially when you add-in Vicki's adolescent daughter, Lauren.
- Wynter's Vicious 2 - Turner has been whispering over my shoulder for months now (...and, believe me, that isn't a complaint!) about how his life changed after Denny Wynter's death. Funny how people change when whiskey, women and wealth burn down to nothing but wasteland.
- HMCM will be a new series and done at the request of more than a few readers that have emailed me. Hellion's Motorcycle Club/Missoula will feature a book on Trey, one on Mel and the last on Dare which were characters from Hiding in Plain Sight. I'm with you ladies! Trey absolutely deserves his own book and I, too, want to see how Mel's life unfolds...and then there's Dare. *sigh*
But, that's not a bad thing, right? Because, as I've often said, it's just a name...not an adjective.
Until next time...Smiling and waving your way,
