Helped a helluva lot.
But I'm cussing about the two weeks of downtime until I was finally able to sit at the computer. A time that put me behind in everything...up to and including finishing Checkmate With Bishop as well as my Birthday Bash!
So with all thanks to my Bob, here's the list of winners that Rafflecopter pulled.
...and Ira Grant who won the Grand Prize of the Kindle Paperwhite!
And, I finished the Hellion Series, 'Checkmate With Bishop'. But I gotta tell you, it was hard. Not just because of Bishop's story--which is different and not one that I would've ever thought to write--but I have to say 'good-bye' to the bikers that have captured my heart since Hiding in Plain Sight. All those wonderful men who kept me up at night as they tried to work their relationships through...as they fell in love with their civilian women and found themselves knee-deep in emotions they never considered possible.
Yeah. I feel like I just lost some of my best friends.
But you can read about them, live and love within the confines of the Hellion Compound although Bishop's story is the last of the group.
Next up? Love Without Boundaries, the anthology that I did with M.K. Eidem (...you love romance? Check out 'Grim'! While it's sci-fi romance, it's a stunner!) and Michelle Howard (who's 'Honor Bound' is absolutely amazing!). My contribution to that book was 'Mate Search'. But the three of us decided that we'll only allow the book to be on sale through 3/31/15. After that you'll have to buy our work individually.
It'll be the first full-length novel of Mate Search and will be titled as "Rykhan", which is only the first of the six books planned in 2015.
Plus there's still the last three books for Grantham (which are getting a total makeover of both covers, book synopsis and editing thanks to my amazing cover designer, Brandi McCann). I'm thinking that two to three books will give that series closure.
But, as always, if you have an idea for a story that you would like to see happen, all you've gotta do is contact me. Remember that the Hellions series all started at the email request of Jennifer Guffey. Just a five line email that had me laughing...at first. But as the idea grew, took shape I was hooked. And by the time I put fingers to keyboard, I fell in love. Not only with Trey (...dear god, Trey!) but with all the guys on the Hellion council as well as the young recruit, Mel.
Truly, I'm only as far away as your keyboard.
Smiling and waving,
