This week's 8 sentences are from one of my previously published novels, 'Everybody Falls'.
As most of you know, the challenge is offered by Weekend Writing Warriors to use only 8 sentences in getting your scene across.

I felt and saw his hips rise as he stopped all movement and groaned long and low. There were streams that jetted and there were louder moans that accompanied certain jets. Then there was an "I love you, Lacey" ground out at the end, when he was shuddering through his climax.
I'll accept the streams and I'll even accept the moans.
But, the other?
It was a moment.
Certain things can get said in the moment.
That doesn't mean a girl has to accept them as truth, even if the words skidded across my heart to hide, trying to find a safe place to stay.
