Here's the truth. I use music to build and guide my characters through my stories. Especially my guys.
Which might be why Laura (my editor) is always yelling at me about my female leads.
Oh yeah, my guys. *sigh* Is it wrong to have a huge crush on your own fictional characters and wish, oh god yearn, to have them as real?
Yeah, that's what I thought!
So here it is.
I'll try and make time to get it onto the website in the appropriate place when time allows. But, since Reinventing Mel is with Laura and I'm watching and clicking keys as Dare and Ryley's story is unfolding, I'm pressed for time.
Uh-huh, girl. Dare is up next...and his Hellion MC book is tentatively called 'Taking a Dare'. And, as I'm discovering, the man is definitely worthy of his name!
Hiding in Plain Sight:
Brand - Interstate Love Song, Stone Temple Pilots and Endlessly, Green River Ordinance
Reese - Could it be anything other than Alison Krause's version of Baby, Now That I've Found You?
The Possibility of Trey:
Trey - Paralyzer, Finger Eleven and Sexy Little Thing, Chickenfoot
Dallas - Fooled Around and Fell in Love - Elvin Bishop as well as You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, Eddie Vedder (guess which part that song pertains to!)
Mel (Hardwood) - Finish What You Started, Van Halen - Higher, Creed - and 'Til I Hear It From You, Gin Blossoms
Lulu - Firework - Katy Perry and Ice Cream - Sarah McLachlan
Taking a Dare (so far!):
Dare - Fire Woman, the Cult and American Woman, Lenny Kravitz
Ryley - I Touch Myself, the Divinyls
Hope that satisfies your curiousity!
Until next time...I'm still smiling and waving your way,
